We woke early one Saturday and traveled with the Carrier Family to the City of Lucena. It is a several hour drive, but thankfully it is a beautiful drive. The landscape is tropical and green, and is also one of the many reasons I love it here in the Philippines.
The Lucena Church was celebrating their 3rd anniversary for their building, 30th church anniversary, and Pastor & Sis. Pabanil's 18th pastoral anniversary. We were honored to be asked to be a part of this special celebration.
Nate was asked to preach their youth service. They had a great group of young people and visitors that came.
Nate preached about being a part of the church. We had a beautiful move of the Holy Ghost.
After the service ended, they asked us to take some photos. Everyone had a chance to take photos behind their handmade photo booth. It was cute, and of course Nate had fun with it....
Sis. Shane (which is one of our students) and her little sister. They are adorable!
Pastor & Sis. Pabanil are very special people. They have a wonderful work there in Lucena, and we always enjoy spending time with them and their church family.
