Church here in Bagong Silang this week was an incredible experience! It had started raining and thundering before service, but things progressed and it became very loud.
We started off with prayer and worship and then things got exciting...
Elder Cajanding had several of the bible school students testify.
We love to hear them brag about God and all He has done for them.
{Bro. Bryan}
{Sis. Abbygale}
{Bro. Chum}
After Bro. Chum had finished testifying and Elder Cajanding was fixing to have Nathan say a few words, the lights starting flickering. As Nate was testifying the power went out. Nate just kept on going and several of us on the front row grabbed our cell phones and turned on the flashlights.
A few men quickly grabbed some battery operated emergency lights and stuck them on the platform so it wasn't so dark.
When he finished speaking, Elder Cajanding got up and said a few words and the power of God fell. It was incredible! The people were not affected one bit by not having fans and lights. Yes it got extremely hot in there, but it didn't bother us at all.
We had such a powerful move of the Holy Ghost that evening. It was so moving to watch the students be touched so strongly by God. These services are what changes lives; I look forward to many more services just like this one.
{After service everyone hung out in the dark for a bit and visited. It was fun!}
{Little Abraham, was loving everyone' flashlights}
{The students having a candle light dinner}
We knew our power was out upstairs in the apartment and that it was going to be a warm evening, but the people here were so considerate of us and they hooked up a generator to the apartment so that we were able to at least have an electric fan.
The power was out for around 8 hours that evening. It came back on at 3:00 in the morning. They say this doesn't happen very often and very seldom does it take that long to come back on. We didn't mind; it's just part of this amazing experience. 😀
That's awesome 💃💃💃💗💗💗
