Sunday in Calamba is always exciting. The children who come to sunday school are so precious. I took so many photos of them today. They just melt your heart.
The young ladies started the day off with singing songs with the children.
Sis. Anne, along with the youth, taught a lesson on Abraham and Isaac. It was in Tagalog (their native language here) so Nate and I did not understand most of it, but the kids and the young people had us laughing. It was so much fun to watch.
Who doesn't love puppets? 😀
After the lesson, each child was given a small bag for their snack. I asked what it was. Bread and spaghetti noodles. Yum!
I love to hear these young people sing! It is not about performance or a talent show, it is straight from the heart and it is powerful! Today they sang, "Lord, You're Holy"
We had an awesome service and many visitors were seeking the Holy Ghost in the altars.
It was very hot today. Poor Nate was overheated after preaching. We are trying our best to drink a ton of water.
The traffic here is no joke. It is insane! This is what a typical Sunday afternoon of traveling home looks like.
After service we stopped at SM to get some groceries. We are trying to stock up before school starts and we will be too busy to run and grab things as easily as we can now.
Please pray that all of the students traveling to school this week arrive safely. We are spending this week finishing up our lessons for the first week and preparing for another weekend in Calamba.
Praying for you all🙏💖 you
