We are starting our fourth week of school next week. It has gone by so quickly, and I am sure that graduation will be here before we know it. But, we are enjoying every single day. Every class is spent teaching them English and having fun learning how to properly write and speak, playing games that get them involved and help them to better learn their subjects, but there are classes where you feel like having church.
Our Character Class assignment was to come up with something that represents either conditional or unconditional love. The boys wrote and sang an absolute gorgeous song about the love of God. It was so perfect and several of us were emotional. It was awesome!
Some of the students wrote letters expressing their gratitude to their parents for their unconditional love. I had them read them in front of the class and they were all so very precious.
Most of the boys and even some of the girls drew these amazing pictures!
I love how talented these students are, they amaze me!
Nate's Understanding Your Bible class had a competition between the boys and the girls. He had taught them how to properly use the right tools for studying God's word. (Strong's Exhaustive Concordance) Each team had to search a word from a verse, locate the Strong's number for that word, and then complete the definition of that word.
During practical arts class the girls finished making their flower pins. Aren't they beautiful?! Every single one of them is so precious and I am enjoying getting to know each of them.
The boys practical arts class was once again learning how to drive. This time, Bro. Bong brought out his jeepney and let some of the young men drive it.

We love and appreciate Bro. Bong. He is the one who drives us safely to Calamba and back almost every weekend. He and his family are a major blessing to us.
We are looking forward to the many, many more weeks of school. God has some exciting things in store for these young people, and we are thrilled to be a small part.
