I must apologize for the lack of blogging. We have been incredibly busy and have not had time to upload photos and sit down to write about what has been going on. But, here is a quick summary of our recent weeks...
The school has been running smoothly, and we are thankful for that!
The ladies finished their book bags in our practical arts class. They are loving being able to sew. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching them. It has been a very, very fun class for us all.
Last week before one of the classes was to begin, some of Level 1 boys came in early and started to pray. A few minutes later the ladies joined, and they began a 3 hour prayer meeting.
The Level 2 students heard what was going on and decided to come in as well. We had an amazing time! I believe this was a life-changing experience for each and every one of them, and Nate and I are so glad to have been a part of such a special moment.
I love their sincere desperation to know God in a greater way. What a joy to be a part of this amazing group of young people.
The Kay-Anlog and the Calamba churches are doing great! Nate and I have fallen in love with these special people. They have welcomed us with open arms and great big "Calamba" smiles.
We have had many, many visitors come and pray at the altar recently. Our prayer is that they will continue to come, and we are believing that they will be filled with the Holy Ghost.
A few Sundays ago we had a powerful worship service. God moved so deeply that we didn't even have preaching that day. It was a joy to see our young people all praying and crying out to God.
These young people make my heart burst! What a great group we have been blessed with!!!
God has been so amazing to us throughout this journey. His blessings just keep flowing and we are overwhelmed at His goodness. Thank you for your continued prayers for us and the Philippines!
