ACTS Bible School Corregidor Trip

The last Friday before the two week break we took a trip to Corregidor Island. If you don't know the history, please read about it. It is an amazing trip and a must see if you are here.

We left Bagong Silang at 4:00 am to be able to arrive at the port by 7:00. The weather has been much cooler lately, for that Nate and I are thankful. You'll notice several have jackets and sweaters on, this made us chuckle, as it was a "cool" 80 degree day. 😂

The boat ride takes about an hour and half. Everyone enjoyed taking photos outside with the beautiful background of the ocean.

I actually wished that I had brought my sweater at this point. It was extremely cold on that boat! 😞

We were so happy when they gave us our own tram. It was nice to be able to be together for the entire day and not have to split into groups.

I took tons and tons of photos. The views are amazing from those mountains!

The girls were scared to death to go outside the lighthouse door. It was funny.

Inside the Malinta Tunnel. This is my favorite part of the tour. Except for the bats that were hanging from part of the ceilings.

After our boat ride back to shore, we went to the Mall of Asia, which is right down the street, and had dinner. It was the weekend before Christmas and it was crazy packed! But, thankfully we were able to snag two tables and eat some unli rice and chicken.  These Filipinos love their rice!

It was such a fun day. We added more memories to our list and had a ton of fun. These students are awesome and we love them so much!
